Don't Be Sad
Thursday, January 03, 2008
As-salaamu'alaykum wa Rahmatu Llahi wa Barakatuhu my dear readers..

I know you missed me.. ha

AlhumduliLlah the RIS Conference went excellent! I'm still recouping, bear with me.

I'd like to share a site with you, Don't Be Sad. It is, to me, the perfect blog! My lack of grammer can't explain all the goodness about it. So please go check it out with an open heart, and don't wait for a Monday or a New Year to apply what you learn, they both may never come.

Jazak'Allah for the pretty badge, very, very much appreciated. May Allah Most Merciful shower His blessings upon you, and reward you for your pure intentions. Ameen. (It should really be ther other way..I should be the one sending you a badge) Thank you so much for creating a useful blog, that will insha'Allah give us success in this world and in the next.

Wa'alaykum as-salaam wa Rahmatu Llahi wa Barakatuhu my two very dear sisters,

Jazak'Allah for always stopping by.. even when I've been away so long.. or at least it feels like its been so long.

I missed you both.. you too Sultana!..hehe lol@you didn't miss me :P

Adikbongsu.. I can really relate to what you said. But you know, I don't think the love you feel for bloggers is because of the bloggers themselves.. so I don't know if knowing them face-to-face would make a significant difference. I really think it's just where YOUR heart is. Masha'Allah.

That being said.. both you and Sultana come across like the rays of the sun :D

Yuppers Sultana, the book is what sparked the idea to start that site. Have you read the book?? I have it, I've read a little..but haven't finished it yet.

Okay ladies..I'm off to crochet.. take care.

Wa'alaykum as-salaam
Lots of Love

I look forward to your next entry.

Ma shaa Allah, I wish I knew about it - I would have stopped by! I was pretty much at the AlMaghrib booth for a good portion of the conference. And my friends and I stopped by the MuslimChild booth too! SubhanAllah, if only I had read this earlier

Oh, and I love all of these projects you're a part of, may Allah reward you continuously : )

Blessed Muslimah, were right there!..and I didn't get to meet you :( Insha'Allah oneday, maybe MuslimFest? Are you taking any of AlMaghrib classes at the moment?? My brother was asking about them just yesterday.. I've never taken any classes but heard they are very good, masha'Allah.

I live in Michigan so I will most likely not be going to MuslimFest (but I hope you enjoy your time there : ) As for AlMaghrib classes, we (Michigan) have one coming up in Feb in shaa Allah, and Toronto does too actually!

I've been to one class in TO - back in July, but usually our classes overlap with TO's. Yasir Qadhi will be teaching this upcoming one - it's going to be The Sciences of the Qur'an. SubhanAllah there is nothing better for a heart then to study and ponder the Qur'an.

I hope you're able to go Farhana :) Waeeyakum for the dua... any time! And I hope that we might be able to actually meet soon this time around, in shaa Allah.

ala :)

As-salaamu'alaykum wa Rahmatu Llahi wa Barakatuhu my very dear sister,

Masha'Allah, you came all the way from Michigan :) I hope you enjoyed your stay in Toronto, enough to come back!

Jazak'Allah for letting me know about the classes. I shall look into them insha'Allah. I totally agree with you about reflecting over the Qur'an.

Look forward to talking to you more often, insha'Allah.

Wa'alaykum as-salaam
Love Farhana
